Dear everyone

I haven’t been the best at promoting my work recently and even have to catch up on a post I wanted to publish a couple of months ago, but am super happy to finally be able to share the version of “Antídoto” that I played at beloved modular shop @elevatorsound_eu in Barcelona back on May 10th of last year.

The @moogsynthesizers Matriarch Deep Dive workshop that I gave there was a special moment for me on many levels, as it marked a turning point in the making of my 9th album Libres antes del final, which was made using only the Matriarch.
Throughout 2025, getting to know Barcelona’s vibrant modular scene from within, whether through regular visits to the shop or attending the events organized by the @barcelonamodularsociety, really gave me extra motivation to improve my synthesis skills, and when we decided with Eric and Jamie of Elevator Sound that I would host a Matriarch Deep Dive at the shop, this gave me even more focus and drive to actually have a couple of songs fully finished for that workshop, as I knew I didn’t want to give a generic presentation of that amazing synth, but something more tightly linked to the way I integrate song-making within synthesis and vice-versa.
“Antídoto” was the first song I completed, followed shortly after by “Libres antes del final”, and playing them in my adopted town in one of my favourite places, mere days after completing them, and a few hours away from my birthday (I had chosen that date on purpose!) was such a treat.
When Rodrigo Notari @rodrigo_notari generously agreed to film this for us, it was the icing on the cake, and thanks to him, we will be able to share the full workshop (which I decided to hold in Spanish) in March! :-)
